I like the verification tht God (The Holy Spirit) is available and welcoming to and supportive of all people.

My question is regarding the vision that Peter recounted, "This happened three times". Is this another reference to Peter's denial in the garden or is the reference to something happened three times common the the telling of events or lessons of that era?

Replying to

Janis, that's a good question about the "three times." In stories, things often happen in threes, and the Bible is no exception here. So I'm not sure if this is meant to be a connection to Peter's three denials or if it's just to emphasize the point. If it is a connection to Peter's denial, what do you think it might be communicating?
