Maundy Thursday commemorates Jesus' last supper with his disciples. What did this supper look like? Why is it worth remembering? What does it mean for us today?

Thank you Pastor John. Everything you inspired me to think & perhaps comment on, you discussed as your message progressed. I agree that this Lent, is one in which we are giving up many things we probably wouldn't, if it hadn't been forced on us by the pandemic, but this is an opportunity for us to lead more purposeful lives. I think we have been forced to slow down & make choices about what we do. Perhaps when we are on the other side of this, more people will take time on Sunday to gather together in thanks & appreciation, and share Communion.

Between bible study last night and this Maundy Thursday teaching moment, I feel as though I am in a very special and holy week. I appreciate the communion fasting consideration also...the positivity of the fast. Thank you for your deeply spiritual gift to us.
