Janis, Not only does God know what is in our hearts, but God is the very one who forms them! It really is freeing, and allows us to serve others for their sake, rather than using them as some tool to earn favor with God. And I didn't think of it, but yes, the blood drive is an excellent way to look after those who are sick. Good connection!

What a great sending hymn (and again, the prelude was so masterfully played). I personally appreciated your interpretation, Pastor John, of this week's message. It is a comfort to know that God will decide in the end, to which group we belong (that as long as we are growing, we belong to both groups and only He knows what is in our hearts). Meanwhile we should just be cognizant of the opportunities we have to give. What a perfect introduction to the Bloodwork's Drive!
