Bible-based classes are offered for all ages.
Pre-school thru High School aged youth as well as an Adult Class:
9:00 am-10:00 am
(Classes begin the second Sunday after Labor Day weekend through mid-May)
Sunday School aged children are given opportunities to participate in the Christmas Pageant, Advent Faire, and the procession of flowers on Easter Sunday. In most years our Sunday School curriculum is based on the lectionary - the lessons we will hear in worship following Sunday School.
7th and 8th grade students
meet during the Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings.
(Classes are offered from September thru May)
A very important part of our tradition. We alternate - every other year- between a focus on Catechism and Bible study. The curriculum is closely linked to the Sunday School curriculum.
Vacation Bible School:
Vacation Bible School is a yearly event that usually takes place the last week of June. Children ages pre-school thru sixth grade have a week of bible stories, music, crafts, outdoor play time, and snacks. Every year there is a different theme and we usually partner with other area Lutheran churches to make this happen.
